Familia!
I made it to the first P day and let me tell you, the MTC just might be my new favorite place on the earth. I honestly don't know where I have ever felt the spirit more strongly more consistently throughout the day. So I will give you a little recap on all that you missed up in Alaska. Jimbo dropped me off at the MTC but before she did I got to have lunch with the Uncles and their families which was great. I could barely eat anything I was so excited and next thing I know I am standing at the curbside at the MTC. After giving Jayme a hug goodbye, two elders started leading me through the MTC grounds on which (as those of you who have served a mission know) every building looks exactly the same. You know how bad my sense of direction is, so needless to say it has been an interesting few days.

So far I have lost:
1)my MTC ID card
2)my schedule
3)my sense of direction

Blessings I have recieved since being here:
1) I have the most amazing companion in the world! Her name is Hermana Pearson and she is from Ohio. Hermana Pearson is the queen of Espanol and works like a mad women. We pretty much spend all of our day laughing together and with the other Hermanas and Elders. Hermana Pearson is healthier than I am so I she is whipping me into shape with our morning work outs. She is also going to Nicaragua which makes me really excited and grateful.

2)I have the most amazing District in the world! My district is composed of Elders going to Chile, myself and two other Hermanas going to Nicaragua, y an Hermana going to El Salvador. (But more about my district later)

3) Sister Dibb taught Relief Society on Sunday! It was amazing. She shared with us advice that her Dad wanted the sister missionaries to know and it was such an amazing experience.

4)I have been made the coordinating Sister. This one is going to be a little difficult because I feel like I already don't have enough time in the day to do my other responsibilities, but I know that whom the Lord calls He qualifies.

Okay, onward to some humorous moments. There is an Elder in my district, Elder Fuimaono, and he is a big Samoan football player and hilarious. We were playing volleyball during gym time and he gave me a sweet set right on the net. I slammed it and then went to give him a high five. He went to give me a hug. What resulted was him standing right next to me with his arms about to wrap me up and me standing stiff as pole. When he realized what happened he let out this scream and backed away and all of the Elders on the court were dying. From then on, Elder Fuimaono worked hard to keep his distance from me.

Now for the spiritual side of things:
1)Learning Spanish is muy dificil perro muy rewarding (don't know how to say that yet). I definitely feel the Lord's help when I am working diligently and studying.
2)On the third day, Hermana Pearson and I taught our first discussion in Spanish. You can imagine how well that went. We have sense met with Teressa (our investigator) 3 times and everytime I try to speak more and more. I am not going to lie, it is really scary and I know that I am slaughtering her language and I is really frustrating not being able to communicate the ideas in my head, but something Hermana Pearson told me is helping me with all of these things: "Happiness transcends language." I just try and be happy and do my best and I know that if all else fails, Teresa will know that I am excited about the gospel, happy to be living it, and that I love and care for her.
3)It is amazing how the Lord feels the heart of a missionary with love. I have definitely felt this in myself.

Yo se que la Iglesia es verdadera.
Yo se que Jesucristo es el Salvador.
Yo se que Dios ame Su hijos.
Se que puedo aprender Espanol!
